Getting Close!!

May....Already?  I can not believe that May is here!  Our daughter is almost done "cooking"~ YAY!  This pregnancy has gone by so fast that I'm actually sad to think that it's almost over.  :(

We have been very busy getting everything ready for her arrival.  If you ask Kyle, he would tell you that I have nested way too long.  We have deep cleaned the house about four times now and I am still not satisfied!  ;)

In this family, we love to plan everything exciting all at one time.  So, we decided to put a graduation, a wedding, and a new baby all together.  My brother is graduating from Engineering School in Milwaukee the same weekend that my brother in law is getting married in Grand Island, which also happens to be the same weekend that I will be 39 weeks pregnant.... (guess they forgot to ask me!~)  Obviously, I can't travel -sorry Brian- but my goal is to make the wedding!  I have been secretly hoping that she comes early so the anticipation and the anxiety of the unknown would be gone, but now that the wedding is 2 weeks from today, I think I am pretty content with her hanging out right where she is a little longer.  2 weeks.... 2 weeks...Yikes! Kyle is the best man and I am a bridesmaid, so I really hope she cooperates and lets mom and dad enjoy the family weekend in GI (don't tell my midwife).

Future Sister-in-law's Bachelorette Party

We also had a Couples Baby Shower at Schmidley's.  It was beautiful weather to grill out, let the kids play in the sand, the boys swing some clubs, and the girls talk about babies!

Getting the Nursery ready...

(...more pics to come soon!)

We have been doing lots of laundry!

Newborn cloth diapers

...and I have tiny hands!  (how I am not supposed to lose these little things?!)

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Church, Cilantro's Mexican food, Homemade margaritas and great friends.  It was a perfect weekend!

Kyle played in a memorial golf tournament, so we spent this weekend in Grand Island.  The weather was perfect for sitting outside on the deck, under the stars, with family and fire.

Macy was enjoying the evening!

Well, it's Sunday night and back to another busy week at work.  We are excitingly counting down the days until our little princess arrives. There are lots of very fun things in our future and we can't wait to get the summer started!!

34 weeks

35 weeks

36 weeks

I'm hoping to get one more post in before she comes! Stay tuned.... we are getting close!
